Longing for my favorite Grace On You space!!!

Hello everyone!

So much to share — Attended a training for trainers at NW Behavioral Health Services where Presenters; Merideth, and Kris were amazing!  Teen Recovery Group was formed 6 years ago when Kris Bella first noticed the need – young people reported going to adult 12 step groups and “getting hit on by 40 year olds.”

This group provides a safe space for young people to feel heard and “empower each other and have fun!!!!”

Youth come in and enjoy a snack the first 20 to 30 minutes, partake in a big group experiential lesson followed by 30 to 45 minutes of check in and process.  “Our mission is to develop positive healthy peer relationships while working to establish the group as a community that offers experiences with other teens which encourages recovery.”

Group locations include; Portland, Tigard and Vancouver!  The Vancouver location has relocated to the XChange Church!

A referral is needed but they do accept state funding!  The Teen Recovery Group qualifies to be in my favorite Grace On You Space!

If you have or know a teen that would benefit from this wonderful experience please contact-  teenrecoverygroups@northwestbhs.com

Sincerely,

Guadalupe
