September has been filled with learning, growing and stretching even beyond what I thought possible!!! And it doesn’t seem to slow down – but that’s wonderful Right??? I am sad to say that I was unable to attend the last CDTCNW training – the need for self care prevailed… I am so sorry I let you down. I can’t wait to attend the board meeting to hear what I missed!!! You can see on the upcoming events page the flurry I am referring to!!!
Wrapping up the month of September with opening up this post for comments, feedback and questions –
and an open invitation to share Your Favorite Memories of Mary – I will share mine on September 20th!
I place an exclamation at the end of this announcement because my experience and memories of Mary were just that!!! Filled with love and mutual heartfelt compassion!!! Mary Thompson was the most wonderful role model I could ever ask for and although she has been gone since September 10, 2010…she lives in my heart every single day!!!
September 24th – will be my first day as an instructor at PCC! I absolutely know Mary would be so incredibly happy to hear that!!!
Blessings to come
October 2nd and 3rd- Guadalupe will be at the conference in Ellensburg – thank you to Scott Sims for making that possible!!! He heard my passion for Eric Martin’s presentations and used his creative intelligence to offer me an opportunity to share Mindful Smoking and partake in this awesome event!!!
October 5th and 6th – Guadalupe will be attending the Freedom From Smoking training for facilitators through the American Lung Association!!! This helped open the door for me to be an instructor – Nicotine Cessation – at PCC! A special thanks to Jonny for seeing my enthusiasm and offering me the opportunity!!!
Additionally, Scott of Columbia Treatment Services in Vancouver offered me the opportunity to join his team – I am now a CDPT which Jonny reports will open up the doors for me to teach additional Alcohol and Drug classes!!!
I am so delighted to hear that Cedar Hills Hospital is going tobacco free soon and the clinical director has asked me to offer my enthusiasm for nicotine cessation with their staff!!!
I am continuing to work as a life skills coach with Jaime Chavez and his team at Cedar Counseling Center!!! I have enjoyed witnessing individuals shift from hurt people hurt people mode – to learn to love themselves which opens them to love and respect others!!!
I am sad to announce that I am saying goodbye to my position at Golden Dawn Clinic due to my full schedule – however we will stay connected – I am blessed to have made friends for life there!!! Plus the sky dive experience Dr. Tran offered us as a team building experience was absolutely life changing!!!
Thank you everyone for everything that you do! You all are a true blessing to this world!!!
My Grace-Filled Life After Addiction Continues To Be Grace-Filled Thanks To All Of You!!! I look forward to seeing you at the next event!!!
